and Chuck Fayne.

The Marc Silber Co. “frisco” ukulele is made in the same high quality as all other Marc Silber Guitar Co. instruments. I designed this uke in conjunction with Chuck Fayne, a well-known collector and player of ukuleles. Years of experience have gone into the design, and the results is that these ukes are some of the best sounding and playing ever made.

Although slightly larger overall, the “frisco uke” is a Soprano. The scale is 15.5 inches long and the body is 10.0 inches wide.

Using cerimo (Mexico) for the top wood, and Spanish cedar or caioba (Mexican mahogany) for the body, these are a gorgeous creation that reminds of the natural beauty of Hawaii both in look and in sound.

The “frisco uke” has been praised by traditional players and by jazz ukulele players as well, who especially appreciate the playability and the degree to which they are the “frisco uke” is in tune.
