A SUPER CLEAN VERSION OF THE SOLID SPRUCE TOP KAY “CALYPSO” MODEL FROM THE MID-1960s The body is Mahogany (laminates) and the Finger Board is Rosewood. The slightly longer scale makes this a fine guitar for rural music or Slide styles.
The Calypso has a Solid Spruce Top with X- bracing and is 16 inches wide and features a wider neck with old style slotted peg head.
This one (# K-2336) is Very Clean with a straight neck, and ready to play. Action is slightly high (good candidate for slide styles)
