THIS IS A GREAT, LARGE OAHU SQUARE NECK GUITAR, circa 1935-40, made by the Regal Co., in Chicago.
TOP = SPRUCE, SUNBURST FINISH, LADDER BRACED, GOLD LEAF DECAL, 15 + 1/2 inches wide.
BODY = MAPLE. THIS WAS ORIGINALLY A 12-FRET SQUARE NECK and has been rounded off into a Spanish style neck.
VERY GOOD SOUNDING + CONDITION. THIS WAS IN THE MARC SILBER COLLECTION FOR MANY YEARS.
